“The Spirit of Forgiveness”
(Matth 2:18, Matth 5:38-42)
Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself continually to protect your sanity. It is an act of mercy and kindness towards yourself and the offender.
While emphasising the importance of forgiveness, Jesus said; I tell you, do not forgive seven times, but seventy times seven.”
Forgiveness is not about condoning the evil act of others or forgetting the pain they caused you; it’s about freeing yourself from anger and resentment.
Forgiveness is understanding that sometimes, people act out their suffering and pains in the forms of transferred aggression or dumping their garbage on someone else.
By forgiving, we release ourselves from the burden of resentment and chains of bitterness.

This is so interesting to learn that forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself, I love this seemingly simple but insightful analogy ❤️
Forgiveness is the key to break through in time of trials and tribulations, we all pray for God to forgive us our trespasses but most time we forget to forgive others.
You have done well to encourage others by this write ✍️ up .
