“GOD’S GRACE IS A HIDDEN TREASURE (Romans 6:1)
The apostle Paul declared, “His grace is sufficient for all my troubles,” a testament to his personal experience and witness to its power.
He unearthed the hidden truth that God’s special grace is enough to carry us through every difficult situation and cause us to prosper in his riches and glory.
But Paul was concerned that people might misinterpret this truth and exploit God’s grace. So, he posed a clarifying question, “Should we continue sinning so that grace can abound?”
This rhetorical question drives home the point that while God’s grace is abundantly sufficient, it’s not a license to sin but a transformative power that helps us overcome sin and grow in faith, understanding, wisdom, and its application to daily life.
