DO NOT DWELL IN THE COUNSEL OF THE WICKED

“Do not dwell in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers.” (Psalm 1:1)
In this life, we are constantly faced with choices that can either lead us closer to God or further away from Him.
When we dwell in the counsel of the wicked, we risk being led astray from God’s path. We may start to compromise our values, question our faith, and lose sight of what truly matters.
Learn to delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on it day and night. Keep company with people who encourage and support you.
As you do so, you will become like a tree planted by the riverside, bearing fruit in season and prospering in all you do. (You will experience the blessing and favour of God, and your life will become a reflection of God’s goodness and love.)

Dwelling in the counsel of the wicked causes a child of God to mock and compromise God’s standards. But thats not the only consequences, the child of God looses God’s presence and is exposed to attack from the enemy. Thank you for thos reminder.
