ALIGNING WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” – Galatians 5:25 (NIV)

Walking with God is not about speed but alignment. It is possible to be busy with spiritual activities yet miss the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit. (Busy turning in circles)

Paul encourages us in Galatians to “keep in step with the Spirit.” This implies a deliberate, intentional rhythm matching our pace and direction with God’s plans and purposes for our earthly mission.

The Holy Spirit is our guide, comforter, and teacher. But alignment requires sensitivity. Just as a musician tunes their instrument, we must tune our hearts to the frequency of the Spirit’s voice. (My sheep knows my voice)

Often, *Holy Spirit’s leading does not come in dramatic signs but in quiet whispers, a nudge, a check in your spirit, a scripture that suddenly comes to mind, a dream or a vision.&

Are there areas of your life where you’ve been marching to your own rhythm, career decisions, relationships, or even ministry? Alignment means yielding these areas back to God, asking: “Holy Spirit, what are You saying about this and where do we go from here?”
