PRAYING TO AN ALL-KNOWING GOD
Prayer is not an act of informing God, because He already knows all things, even before you form the thought or utter the petition you are about to bring before Him.
Jesus said, “Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:32–33).
Jesus also warned, “When you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words” (Matthew 6:7).
This shows us that prayer is not about informing God but about aligning our hearts with Him. Since God already knows, the right way to approach Him is with a clean heart and absolute trust in His ability to do what He has promised.
We rise by faith, and faith is simply the ability to trust God in absolute terms and without reservation.
