LOVE, BLESS, AND DO GOOD TO YOUR ENEMIES
(Matthew 5:44-45)
*“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.” * Matthew 5:44-45
Beloved, walking in the footsteps of Christ requires a higher dimension of living, one beyond the ordinary. To be of like mind with God, you must rise to an altitude where negativity cannot survive, just as the eagle soars above the reach of crows.
This means living above distractions, hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness, and wrong mindsets. These weights keep you grounded and blind to God’s perspective. But when you overcome them, you will spread your wings, and the wind of God’s breath will carry you to greater heights. At that point, you will begin to see the invisible and do the impossible because your heart is aligned with heaven.
It is only in this realm that you can truly obey Christ’s command:
Love your enemies – See them through the lens of grace, not revenge.
Bless those who curse you – Speak life where others speak death.
Do good to those who hate you – Let kindness disarm hostility.
Pray for those who persecute you – Because prayer changes not only them, but also you.
This is not weakness. it is strength under control, the very nature of God reflected in you. When you live this way, you prove that you are truly a child of your Father in heaven.
