I AM STRONG WHEN I AM ON YOUR SHOULDERS
(James 1:2–3; Psalm 138:7–8)
Walking and working with God comes in different forms and shapes, with personalized results according to the relationship we create and sustain.
You may choose to walk ahead of God, walk alongside Him, follow behind Him, or tie a rope around His neck and ride on His shoulders.
“Call upon Me at all times”—not only in times of trouble—“and I will work out a solution suitable to you at that moment.”
God may not remove the mountain or calm the storm, but He will either strengthen your ability to overcome that mountain or carry you on His shoulders across that storm.
Faith is absolute trust in God. It is resting on God’s strength when yours is exhausted; it is believing that even when the ground shakes beneath you, His shoulders will not.
When life feels heavy and uncertain, remember that God’s shoulders are wide enough to carry both you and your burdens. Strength is not the absence of weakness, but the presence of divine support. Each trial is an opportunity to climb higher, resting on God’s shoulders, where your vision becomes clearer and your heart grows stronger.
