FEAR IS A LIAR
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ( 2 Timothy 1:7)
Fear often comes disguised as caution, but at its core, it is a spirit that limits our faith and silences our courage. It whispers lies about who we are and what we can become, magnifying our weaknesses while hiding God’s strength. Fear thrives in the dark corners of doubt, where we forget that God’s presence is greater than any threat before us.
Fear is not from God; it is the enemy of faith. It paralyses the heart, clouds judgment, and keeps us from walking in divine purpose. It tells us to shrink back when God calls us forward. Yet Scripture reminds us that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind.
When fear rises and roars, respond with overwhelming faith. Speak God’s Word over your situation. Declare His promises louder than your fears, and take decisive steps in faith. Every “what if” can be silenced by a single truth: God is with me.
