THE POWER OF ASKING QUESTIONS

Bible Reflection:
*“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” * (Matthew 7:7)

Every great discovery begins with a question. The simple act of asking is not a sign of ignorance, but of hunger for truth, for growth, for understanding. To ask is to acknowledge that there is more to know, more to see, and more to become.

This humility before the unknown opens the door to divine revelation.

God delights in sincere seekers. When Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you,” He revealed a principle of divine curiosity.

The kingdom of God responds to the heart that inquires deeply, not with doubt, but with faith. Every question asked in faith becomes a seed sown into the field of discovery.

When we stop asking, our spiritual growth halts. When we ask the right questions such as; Lord, what would You have me learn? What truth lies hidden here? How can I serve better? etc, we invite the Holy Spirit to become our teacher.

In this way, every problem becomes a classroom, every challenge a lesson, and every silence an opportunity for revelation.

True wisdom is not in having all the answers, but in living close enough to God to keep asking, listening, and learning. Questions stretch the boundaries of our understanding, allowing divine wisdom to pour in where human knowledge ends.

Those who ask with faith discover that God’s answers rarely come as quick fixes, but as insights that shape character, build patience, and deepen trust. The Spirit teaches line upon line, precept upon precept, guiding us from curiosity to comprehension, and from knowledge to transformation.
So keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. The questions you bring before God today may open the door to your next breakthrough.
