THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM — SEEING BEYOND WHAT IS VISIBLE
Bible Reflection:
“Do not be easily unsettled or alarmed… Let no one deceive you in any way.”
( 2 Thessalonians 2:1–5)
Wisdom is the power to discern truth in a world overflowing with confusion, noise, and distraction. True wisdom does not come from intellect, age, experience, or academic achievement. It flows only from a living relationship with the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth who teaches, reveals, corrects, and guides.
When we walk in wisdom, we are not driven by fear, culture, emotions, or human reasoning. Instead, we are anchored by divine understanding and spiritual insight.
Wisdom reveals the difference between what looks right and what is right. It opens our eyes to the hidden hand of God in difficult seasons and exposes the eternal purpose behind temporary trials.
Scripture reminds us, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous…” — but affliction is not abandonment.
No pain, no gain.
Nothing goes for nothing.
No trials, no promotion. Every challenge becomes a classroom when the Spirit of Wisdom is your teacher.
In the days of Haggai, the people looked at a ruined temple and saw loss — but wisdom allowed them to see promise. Wisdom whispered that the glory ahead would be greater than the glory they remembered. While others saw rubble, God saw rebuilding. While men saw decline, God saw destiny.
That same wisdom is at work today.
It is alive in every believer who has received a dream, an idea, or a divine prompting but is unsure where to begin.
Wisdom says:
“#Start small.”
Great visions often begin as small, faithful steps. The temple did not rise in one day; it arose brick by brick. Likewise, the destiny God is building in you will rise decision by decision, step by step, layer by layer.
Don’t despise small beginnings.
What starts as obedience will become manifestation.
Food for Thought: Wisdom is the ability to see not just what is, but what God is doing behind the scenes. Your breakthrough may already be in motion, but wisdom is required to recognise it and walk into it.
