BECOMING A VESSEL OF INFLUENCE

Bible Reflection: Matth 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Once God begins to refine a vessel, His next desire is to release that vessel as a light in the world. Transformation is never meant to end with the individual.

God refines a person so He can release them. He shapes you so that you can shape others.

Becoming valuable before God is the first step. Becoming influential for His kingdom is the next. Influence in the Spirit is not measured by followers, titles, or applause. It is measured by impact on people through a quiet authority that flows from a life of service to humanity.

A vessel that carries God’s presence influences atmospheres, restores hope, and inspires change, often without speaking loudly.

When God elevates a person, He does not always announce them. Sometimes, he plants them. He places them in environments where their character, wisdom, and creativity become channels of His grace. (That is marketplace ministry)

Marketplace Influence flows naturally because the vessel has been purified, prepared, and positioned.

Do not underestimate the subtle ways God can use you. A kind word to someone broken, a patient response in a tense moment, the excellence you bring to your work, or the compassion you show to those who have nothing to offer in return. All these reflect the light of Christ.

Influence is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is quiet, steady, and deeply transformative.

As you grow spiritually, God may call you into spaces that seem beyond you. Do not fear, because when God refines you, He also equips you. When He purges you, He also empowers you. You were not designed merely to be available. You were shaped to be valuable. And now, you are being prepared to be influential.

Let your light shine, not in arrogance, but in grace and truth. God’s glory becomes visible through the vessel that is both purified and willing.

Food for Thought: Where has God positioned you today that you have not yet recognised as a place of influence?
