THE PRICE OF PREPARATION
Bible Reflection; (Luke 16:10)
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.”
God invests His greatest treasures in hearts that have embraced the discipline of preparation. Many desire influence, elevation, and divine breakthrough, but they cry over the trial seasons where God forms character, builds endurance, and teaches spiritual sensitivity.
Preparation is often hidden, and many ignore it. But nothing valuable in the kingdom is ever released without first being tried and refined in the secret place.
Before David ever faced Goliath, he first learned faithfulness in the wilderness. Before Joseph ever ruled Egypt, he learned obedience in Potiphar’s house and patience in prison. Before Jesus stepped into public ministry, He endured forty days of fasting, testing, and spiritual strengthening. (what about you? Are you still busy complaining and asking, God why me?)
Heaven elevates the prepared, not merely the available. When God calls you into preparation, it may feel like nothing is happening. Doors opens slowly, results may seem delayed, and recognition may feel far away.
Do not see preparation as punishment, because it is God’s kind of proofreading His investment on you. God is shaping your inner strength so that when the weight of destiny rests upon you, it will not destroy you.
Faithfulness in small things is the training ground for greater tasks and Excellence in ordinary responsibilities strengthens the vessel for the masters use.
Discipline in prayer, focus, kindness, creativity, and integrity prepares the heart for bigger assignments. Every act of obedience in private shapes the weight of your influence in public.
Do not despise the days of little beginning and do not resist the training of God. The vessel that submits to preparation becomes the vessel God can trust with impact, responsibility, and revelation.
You are not delayed; you are being sharpened. You are not forgotten; you are being equipped and at the appointed time, the God who prepared you in secret will reveal you in purpose. Every season of preparation is a prophecy of future greatness.
