THE COURAGE TO CHANGE
Bible Reflection
Romans 12:2
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
Growth is impossible without change. Many people pray for a new level, a new season, and a new breakthrough, yet they resist the very transformation that would prepare them for it.
God cannot pour new wine into an old wineskin. He cannot release a new chapter into a heart that refuses renewal.
Change takes courage. It means letting go of habits that feel comfortable, friendships that weaken your spirit, beliefs that limit your potential, and patterns that delay your destiny. It means admitting that some things you have held on to no longer serve the version of you God is raising.
Remember: You cannot keep doing the things that produced failure and expect a success story.
Transformation begins in the mind. Long before your life changes externally, it must shift internally. What you feed your thoughts determines the direction of your life.
If you renew your mind with truth, you rise.
If you fill your mind with fear, excuses, and negativity, you remain the same wishful thinker of imaginary breakthroughs.
God does not force change on anyone. He invites us into it.
He whispers:
“Come higher.”
“Grow deeper.”
“Lay this down.”
“Pick this up.”
Those who obey grow. Those who resist remain stunted, despite their long fasting and prayers.
The courage to change is the bridge between who you are and who you are becoming. Every destiny, every calling, every assignment, and every blessing has a version of you attached to it.
You must grow into that version through intentional choices, renewed thinking, and courageous decisions.
Do not fear change. Fear remaining the same when God is calling you forward.
