THE VOICES YOU LISTEN TO SHAPES YOUR DESTINY
Bible Reflection: Isaiah 30:21
“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.”
Your life will always move in the direction of the loudest voice in your mind. Every day, you are surrounded by voices of people, voices of culture, voices of fear, voices of doubt, voices of faith, and the quiet, steady voice of God. The question is: which one shapes your decisions?
Destiny is not only attacked by wrong associations; it is also weakened by wrong conversations.
Some voices push you forward, and some pull you backward. Some strengthen your belief, and some feed your unbelief.
Growth *requires discernment because not every voice deserves access to your inner space.
You cannot grow when you constantly listen to voices that criticise and belittle your potential.
You cannot grow spiritually if you entertain voices that laugh at holiness and discipline.
You cannot reach your next level if you keep absorbing words designed to plant fear, insecurity, or confusion in your mind.
Words are powerful. They can build or break, lift or limit, because they are empowered by spirits.
Even Jesus often withdrew from the crowd to hear the Father clearly. Samuel could not recognise God’s voice until he separated from noise. Elijah did not hear God in the wind or fire but in a still small voice.
The voices you listen to, over time, create the environment inside your mind. That environment becomes your attitude. That attitude becomes your direction. And that direction becomes your destiny.
Guard your ears and filter what you feed your subconscious mind.
Choose conversations that align with your assignment, purpose, and projects.
Feed your soul with truth, not toxic noise or endless political arguments unless you are a paid politician.
Give more attention to God’s whisper than to empty debates.
When you tune your heart to God’s voice, clarity comes, strength rises, and confusion loses its power.
Food for Thought: Don’t argue to win. Listen, learn, gain new knowledge, and discard the rest.
