THE KINGDOM WITHIN
Luke 17:21
“For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
We were taught to look upwards and run the kingdom race as a reward and our final resting place when we die.
We were also thought to pray for breakthrough miraculously rather than to work diligently and expect God to bless the works of our hands.
Yet Jesus quietly redirected attention inward saying:
The Kingdom of God is not postponed. It is present. Not distant. But within. It is at hand.
This truth will reshap your understanding of faith. It means God is not only to be obeyed. He is to be hosted.
Eze adighi ano n’uzo, o no n’obi ndi ya, a king does not live on the road, he lives in the hearts of his people.
Religion teaches rules, while the Kingdom establishes reign. When the Kingdom is internalised, obedience becomes alignment, Faith becomes trust and Prayer becomes communion.
Without inner reign, religion becomes noise, and life remains disordered.
Kingdom consciousness restores dignity without pride, and removes fear without arrogance.
