THE CONCLUSION OF THE MATTER
“All we have came from the Lord, so what can we offer unto the Lord that He does not already possess?” This is the humility of true wisdom.
We came into this world with nothing, and we shall leave with nothing. Every gift we hold, breath, strength, intellect, opportunity, wealth, influence, even time itself, is a trust placed in our hands by God.
We are not owners. We are stewards.
That is why Solomon, after tasting knowledge, pleasure, power, and success, reduced life to one simple and eternal truth:
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Ecclesiastes 12:13
To fear God is not to tremble in terror, but to live in reverent awareness, to recognise His presence in every thought, decision, and action and to align our soul and mind with divine order.
Obedience is not slavery. It is harmony. When the soul walks in step with its Creator, life begins to flow instead of struggle.
You do not serve God by what you give Him. You serve Him by what you allow Him to become in you. When His truth shapes your mind, His love governs your heart, and His Spirit directs your choices, your life itself becomes the offering.
Everything else is temporary. Titles will fade, wealth will change hands, applause will grow silent, but a life lived in love, reverence and obedience remains anchored in eternity.
This is the conclusion of the matter. Not ambition, not religion and not possession, but alignment with God. In that alignment, a man finds peace, purpose, and lasting fulfilment.
