CULTIVATE A KINGDOM BELIEF SYSTEM

(Awakening the Spirit Within Series)

“And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” (Luke 22:29-30)

The word “confer” carries immense weight. When Jesus said, “I confer on you a kingdom,” He was not speaking in metaphors. He was legally transferring authority and dominion to His disciples. It is the same authority that God gave Him – now given to us as co-heirs.

Yet, many believers live as servants instead of sons, beggars instead of kings.? largely because of ignorance of kingdom principles.

Jesus told Peter: “Satan has asked to sift you as wheat” (Luke 22:31) because Peter had not yet understood the power of kingdom identity.

A Kingdom belief system is the foundation for victorious Christian living. Without it, you will remain dominated by fear, doubt, and circumstances. With it, you will walk in faith, authority, and dominion as a true ambassador of Christ.

INSIGHT FOR AWAKENING YOUR SPIRIT

  1. Kingdom Authority Is Conferred, Not Earned
Jesus didn’t say, “Work hard and earn the Kingdom.” He said, “I confer on you a kingdom.” This means your authority is by grace and covenant, not human effort.
  2. Ignorance Invites Defeat
Satan desires to sift those who don’t understand their kingdom rights. When you lack knowledge of who you are, you live like a slave in a palace.
  3. The Holy Spirit Is Your Kingdom Tutor
Jesus said, “Do not leave Jerusalem until you have received the Holy Spirit” (Acts 1:4). The Spirit teaches you kingdom principles, reminds you of God’s promises, and empowers you to occupy your divine position.
  4. Occupy Until He Comes
“Occupy till I come” (Luke 19:13) means take charge, dominate, and influence your sphere with kingdom culture. Stop living as a victim—start reigning as a victor.
