“DO NOT PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET: A Call for Critical Examination
(Matt 25:14-30)

‘Do not put all your eggs in one basket’ originates from a 17th-century proverb, not directly from the Bible. However, biblical principles emphasize diversification and wise stewardship (Matthew 25:14-30, Luke 19:11-27).

This capitalist advice cautions against over-investment in a single asset, reducing vulnerability to catastrophic loss.

But the question is: Who owns those other baskets? Are they not the same capitalists inviting us to distribute our assets among their various vessels?

Diversification can minimise risk but, at the same time, spread wealth among the same power structures. True financial freedom requires self-directed investment and ownership.

Break free from the eggs-in-one-basket mentality. Become the architect of your financial destiny or join hands with friends to create shared ownership and community-driven entrepreneurship.
