DON’T BURY YOUR TALENT
Bible Reflection:
(Matthew 25:25)
“And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth.”
Fear is one of the greatest enemies of purpose. It paralyses potential, silences creativity, and convinces a person to hide what God intended them to multiply.
In the parable of the talents, the servant did not fail because he lacked ability. He failed because he buried what he was given. His fear was stronger than his faith.
Many believers today do the same. They bury their ideas, their gifts, their voices, their dreams, and their opportunities.
They bury them under excuses. They bury them under self-doubt. They bury them under the fear of criticism and the fear of failure.
Yet heaven never rewards buried potential. God rewards faith, courage, and faithful action. He blesses what you have at hand and not what you wishfully pray for
Hiding your gift does not protect it. It suffocates it. What you refuse to use slowly loses its sharpness. What you refuse to express eventually loses its boldness.
The gift God placed within you is not meant to be wrapped in timidity. It is meant to shine, to bless, to impact, and to multiply.
Your gift is not for decoration, it is for deployment. God did not give it to you so you could admire it in silence. He gave it so you could serve, influence, build, encourage, and transform.
Destiny does not unfold in the comfort zone of wishfulprayers forbreakthrough. It unfolds when courage meets obedience.
Take a step today, even if it is small. Start with what you have. Begin with what you know. Move with confidence, knowing that God does not call the equipped; He equips the called. You do not need perfection; you need willingness. You do not need applause; you need obedience. Everything God has placed in you is enough to start your journey.
Heaven celebrates the believer who refuses fear and chooses faith.
