GOOD DEEDS ARE HARD CURRENCIES WITH ENDLESS VALUES

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

One of the simplest yet most profound summaries of Jesus’ ministry is this:
“He went about doing good.” (Acts 10:38)

Everywhere He went, goodness flowed like a river. He healed the sick, opened blind eyes, comforted the sorrowful, fed the hungry, and lifted the broken. His life was a constant testimony that goodness is the language of heaven.

Even when the wine ran out at a wedding feast, He turned water into wine, not for show, but to save a family from shame. This simple act reminds us that doing good is not always about grand gestures; sometimes, it’s about meeting a need, easing a burden, or restoring joy in the little things.

Jesus taught His disciples that those who believe in Him would “do greater works” than He did (John 14:12). That means you are called to be an agent of goodness in your generation.

Good deeds are like hard currencies, they never lose value, and their worth echoes through eternity.

Pause for a moment over this question: When your earthly journey ends, what good will you be remembered for? What testimony will heaven and earth have about you?

Look around you today and do something, no matter how small.
Who can you help?
What burden can you lift?
What small act of kindness can you use to bring light to someone’s darkness?
