GOOD FRIDAY
(John 2:19, Rom 5:8)
While we were yet sinners, God offered His only son as a sacrifice to redeem the lost relationship with humans. This ultimate act of love demonstrates God’s profound desire to reconnect with humanity.
Through Jesus’ sacrifice, the gate of heaven was reopened, allowing us to:
- Reestablish spiritual connections: Experience a deepened relationship with God.
- Enjoy the bliss of heaven: Partake in the joy and peace that comes from being in God’s presence.
As Jesus said, “I will destroy this temple and rebuild it in three days.” This prophecy symbolizes the restoration of our relationship with God.
Today, we:
- Remember: Reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
- Commemorate: Honour the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice.
- Celebrate: Rejoice in the redemption and restoration made possible through Jesus.
Your separation from God’s seat of power is finished. Arise and rule with Christ, embracing the new life and relationship made possible through His sacrifice.
Indeed, it was a Good Friday
