GRACE, LOVE AND FELLOWSHIP
(2 Corinthians 13:14)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 1:3)
Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God, and it is nourished by three essential ingredients: Grace, Love, and Fellowship.
Grace: The Principal Connotation of Jesus Christ
Grace is the unmerited favour of God, demonstrated through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the principal connotation of Jesus, who showed us that God’s love is not based on our worthiness but on His mercy and compassion.
Love: The Symbol of God’s Unconditional Love
God is the embodiment of unconditional love, which is demonstrated through His sacrifice and provision for humanity. His love is not based on our actions or performance, but on His character and nature.
Fellowship: The Mandate of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God, has the mandate to teach us all things, remind us of all things, and fellowship with us continually (John 14:26). He is our Comforter, Guide, and Advocate, who helps us to understand and apply God’s Word in our lives.
The Trinity of Faith
Grace, Love, and Fellowship are the three essential ingredients that nourish our faith. They are intertwined and inseparable, reflecting the unity and harmony of the Trinity.
Grace, therefore, is the foundation of our salvation, Love the motivation of our service and Fellowship the sustenance of our spiritual growth
