HELLO VALENTINE!
(1 John 4:8-16)
If love were a fruit, you’d be my banana – sweet and irresistible.
If it were a drink, you’d be my strawberry juice – refreshing and delightful.
And if it were pounded yam, you’d be my okro soup – the perfect complement to make my heart whole.
If love was a race, I had sprint like a Tinubu thug, grab it, and run with it.
If love were a metaphor, I’d be Adam, drawn to the forbidden apple, defying warnings not to venture near the tree at the center of your garden.
I’ll tirelessly climb mountains, run through life’s valleys, and walk to the moon, all in pursuit of an endless true love.
Oh, Valentine, an elusive dream in the heart of men, especially in these trying times. Where are you Valentine? The earth seems devoid of love, as deceit, hate and poisonous venom run rampant among men.
Oh, Valentine, how are the mighty fallen! Yet, true love remains the only unwavering beacon of hope in a world torn apart by hate and envy.”
