KNOWLEDGE IS POWER?
“Get wisdom, and with all your getting, get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7 NKJV)
The notion that knowledge is power has been challenged by the reality that possessing multiple degrees does not guarantee success or self-sufficiency. A jack of all trades, master of none may have a broad range of knowledge, but lack expertise in a specific area.
In contrast, a jack of all trade, master of applied invention is someone who, despite lacking specialized training, excels at applying knowledge to solve problems and create innovative solutions.
This highlights the distinction between knowledge and applied knowledge.
Knowledge is not power, but potential power. Only when knowledge is specialised and applied does it become a source of true power.
This understanding emphasises the importance of practical application and expertise in unlocking one’s full potential, bearing in mind that “Faith without work, is dead.
