KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM

“KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING, AND WISDOM”
(Prov 4:5-7)

“Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.”

Knowledge is the acquisition of profitable information, but until you put it to use, it remains useless.
Understanding is the comprehension of the knowledge acquired, making it readily available for application

Wisdom is the application of knowledge acquired, understood, and comprehended. Wisdom is only profitable when put to use in every aspect of life.

In other words, Knowledge is knowing what to do; Understanding is knowing why, where, and how, and Wisdom is doing it.

As the Bible says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
