The phrase “opportunity knocks but once” is a common idiom, but it’s not a direct Bible verse.
The Nature of Opportunities
Opportunities are chance-dependent and can happen to anyone, regardless of their belief systems. However, those who are physically and spiritually prepared at the moment can seize them and run with it.
Second Chances
While opportunities might seem fleeting, it’s possible to get another chance. If you miss an opportunity due to unpreparedness and sincerely dedicate yourself to learning from your mistakes, the same opportunity might reappear in a different dimension.
Divine Promise
The Bible promises, “I will bless the works of your hand and your talents will present you before kings” (cf. Psalm 112:5, Proverbs 22:29). This divine promise highlights the importance of being prepared and using your talents wisely.
