REDEEMED, YET NOT PRODUCTIVE
(James 2:14-26)

Redemption or salvation is freely given, but maintaining it requires the steadfast application of work to your faith.

Even when you get on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there. This powerful metaphor emphasizes the importance of continuous effort and progress in our spiritual journey.

Merely knowing the Word without applying its principles is like planting corn in the dry season without any plan for irrigation. The seeds may lie dormant or germinate, but without proper care, they will wither and die.

Similarly, without applying the principles of God’s Word, our faith remains barren and unproductive.

To be truly productive in our faith, we must put God’s Word into practice. This requires diligence, perseverance, and a willingness to learn and grow.

By applying the principles of God’s Word, you can cultivate a fruitful and vibrant faith that brings joy, peace, and fulfilment to your life.
