RENEWING THE MIND
Bible Reflection
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” — Romans 12:2
“And Jesus went about doing good” is a beautiful summary of the earthly ministry of Christ. Yet behind all His miracles, teachings, and compassion was one central message, “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”
In simple terms, Jesus was saying, change the way you think, because God’s Kingdom is already here.
The Kingdom is not a distant reward. It is a present reality that must be perceived, understood, and lived through a transformed mind.
Renewing the mind, as Apostle Paul teaches, is not a one-time event. It is a continuous discipline. It is not emotional excitement or religious enthusiasm. It is a daily alignment of our thoughts, attitudes, and perceptions with the truth of God’s Spirit.
This renewal happens through relationship, not ritual. It flows from walking with Christ, listening to His voice, and allowing His truth to reshape how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would teach us all things and remind us of everything He said. The role of the Spirit is to keep our minds aligned with Heaven’s purpose while we live on earth.
When the mind is renewed, confusion gives way to clarity, fear gives way to faith, and purpose becomes direction.
#A renewed mind is the doorway through which the Kingdom of God becomes visible and practical in daily life.
