SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD
(Matt 6:33)
Jesus had compassion for His disciples when he overheard them discussing their worries and concerns.
Do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ for the pagans run after all these things, but your heavenly Father knows you need them.
Seek first his kingdom and righteous ways, and all these things will be given to you so that you might experience the bliss of heaven here on earth.
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own, he concluded. Why, then, are we filled with worries and living in the illusion that this world is not our home when God effectively sent us to occupy it and make it look like heaven?
