THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE TAKE TIME
(Matthew 13:24-28)
Time is a precious commodity that nurtures growth, refinement, and excellence. Just as good food, meaningful relationships, sturdy houses, lasting wealth, and abundant harvests require patience and dedication, so do the best things in life.
Jesus illustrated this principle in a parable:
“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat.” (Matthew 13:24-25)

The servants asked the master, “Do you want us to go and pull them up?” But he replied, “No, because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time, I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.” (Matthew 13:26-30)
This parable teaches us that Time separates the genuine from the counterfeit, to be intentional in our use of time in all aspects of life, and that time is a gift God gave to all in equal measures.
Time is of essence. Use it wisely
