THE DIVINE AND THE MORTAL BEING IN US
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

As the Bible reminds us, the human body is a complex and intricate vessel, designed to navigate the challenges of earthly life. Our physical form is comprised of essential instruments, including the eyes, brain, ears, mouth, legs, and hands, which facilitate our coexistence with the divine.

The body is often referred to as the temple of God, entrusted to our care and stewardship. We are tasked with managing, maintaining, and servicing this temple, ensuring it remains a suitable dwelling place for the divine.

The divine presence within us is the essence of our being, the “I am” that animates our mortal form. (It requires a healthy and vibrant body to operate effectively.)

When our physical body becomes compromised, the divine presence may depart, leaving the body vulnerable to death and disintegration.

Our physical body can be likened to a garment that clothes the spirit. (When we neglect or abuse our bodily temple, the spiritual essence within us feels incomplete and disconnected. Ultimately, this can lead to the departure of the divine presence, leaving the body to succumb to mortality.)

Learn to honour the sacred trust of caring for your bodily temple by recognising the intricate and sacred relationship between the divine and mortal aspects of the human body

  1. Very obvious. Man is three dimentional body soul and Spirit. Our physical body is well designed to contain d soul and Spirit. The scripture says that our body is d temple of the living God anything that defiles it He God will destroy. So, as d body is important, so also is the Spirit. All should be kept sanctified for the masters use.
