WHAT WILL BE, WILL BE: GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY REIGNS
Two powerful scriptures in review:
- Romans 11:29: “The gifts of God are WITHOUT REPENTANCE.”
- Isaiah 55:11: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me VOID, but it shall ACCOMPLISH what I please.”
Comparison Points:
- UNCONDITIONAL NATURE: God’s gifts and words are unconditional and IRREVOCABLE.
- DIVINE SOVEREIGNTY: God’s plans and promises are not dependent on human success or failure.
- FAITHFULNESS: GOD KEEPS HIS WORD, REGARDLESS OF HUMAN SHORTCOMINGS.
Whereas human messengers may fail, God’s promises will still find a way to express themselves and manifest, even at the cost of replacing the messenger. (See Moses & Joshua, Saul & David, Jonah & Nineveh)
CHE SERA, SERA: GOD’S PLANS MUST COME TO PASS, EVEN IF IT MEANS REPLACING HUMAN MESSENGERS. (I will raise stones to worship me if Israel fails)
