HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE YOURSELF?
(Levit 19:18, Matt 22:39)

As we journey through life, we often find ourselves searching for love and acceptance from others. We crave meaningful relationships, deep connections, and a sense of belonging.

However, it’s essential to recognize that the foundation of all love begins with self-love. (Love your neighbours as yourself? So the love starts from self-love)

When you love yourself, you cultivate a sense of self-worth, self-acceptance, and self-compassion. You learn to appreciate your strengths and weaknesses, and you become more understanding and gentle with yourself.

Loving yourself doesn’t mean you are selfish or narcissistic; it means you are whole and ready to receive love from others.

When you have a strong sense of self-love, you are not desperate for validation from others. Instead, you become free to love others as yourself from real experience.

Today, take a moment to reflect on your relationship with yourself. Do you treat yourself with kindness and compassion? Do you celebrate your strengths and acknowledge your weaknesses or do you indulge in constant self-accusation and mourn over spilt oil or mistakes?
