THE POWER OF SEEKING
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6 (NKJV)
Have you ever misplaced something precious, a set of keys, a wallet, or even your phone? Notice how everything else seems to pause until you find it. You search diligently because you know its value.

This is the heart of seeking God. It’s an active, intentional pursuit of His presence, not a passive wish for Him to show up. Isaiah reminds us to “seek the Lord while He may be found” because there is a window of opportunity for every season of our lives. Seeking God now sets the course for the future.
But what does it mean to seek? It is more than occasional prayers or quick Bible reading. Seeking God is a posture of the heart a.k.a ‘Mindset’. It is a continual longing that says, “Lord, I will not let You go until I encounter You. I want Your will, Your wisdom, and Your way.”
It’s important to remember that God does not hide Himself to frustrate us. He invites us to seek because the process draws us closer.
Jeremiah 29:13 promises, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” The key is the heart/mind. Half-hearted seeking leads to discouragement, but whole-hearted seeking leads to divine discovery.
