WELCOME TO MAY: THE WEEDING SEASON
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, 11:6-10)
Jesus frequently taught with parables and allegories, using familiar stories to help us understand hidden truths.
The farmer waits for the rainy season to come, then he prepares the soil, plants his seeds, and goes home believing it will germinate. (This process represents strategic planning and investment).
In the month of May, the farmer engages himself in weeding to ensure a bountiful harvest. Similarly, it’s time to revisit your 2025 plans and follow up with Plan B. (This is today’s equivalent of weeding.)
As the scripture advises, “Do your work in the morning, and in the evening, let not your hand be idle, for you do not know which one will prosper.” (Don’t depend solely on your salary; invest your evening time in productive ideas, new ventures and acquisition of knowledge).
