WISDOM SPEAKS LOUDER THAN THE ESCAPADES OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND
In the stillness of our hearts, two voices often compete for attention:-
- The quiet, steady voice of wisdom
- The restless wanderings of the subconscious mind.
The subconcious mind fills our thoughts with fleeting images, worries, desires, and sometimes irrational fears. (It thrives on past experiences and unprocessed emotions and attempts to do all the things we ever thought of, or imagined in our mind)
But wisdom, God’s kind of wisdom, is different. It speaks with clarity and purpose. It is not born of anxiety or impulse but flows from the Spirit of God, bringing peace and alignment with God’s will.
Proverbs 4:7 reminds us: “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding and application.”
The escapades of the subconscious may entertain or confuse us, but they rarely lead to life. Wisdom, however, anchors us in truth and guides our decisions and actions with divine precision.
